Our Black Walnuts are hand harvested from one of eight Eastern Black Walnut trees that we have growing on our farm. We then hand-husk each walnut and float-test them, then fully clean the good ones and set them to dry. It's a labor-intensive process that we perform during the short walnut season to bring these delicious nuts to you in time for the winter holidays.

Note that Black Walnuts have much harder shells than English Walnuts! You will need to break into them with a hammer or a specialty nutcracker to get to the nut meat. But it's completely worth it!
